Optical Sorting
Automatic material sorting with NIR, VIS and shape detection — built for plastics, paper, cardboard, film and more.
The ECOPACK optical sorter allows the automatic classification and separation of various types of materials, by composition (NIR), colour (VIS) and/or shape (deep learning). Thanks to the flexibility of multispectral vision, ECOPACK can be quickly reconfigured to classify new materials as they appear in the inlet treatment flow.
ECOPACK models are designed to work on acceleration belts from 1000mm to 3000mm, with different separation options — Double Bar or MultiTrack — according to each customer's needs.
Sorting of PET bottles vs. trays vs. others.
Sorting of polypropylene, polystyrene, PVC vs. others.
Sorting of PEAD bottles vs. silicone cartridges vs. film vs. others.
Sorting of paper and cardboard vs. others.
Sorting of Brik vs. others.
Sorting of film vs. bottles vs. others.
Sorting of PVC and other impurities.
Sorting of cotton vs. polyester vs. others.
Allows up to three different material streams to be separated using the same conveyor belt.
Optional kit to automatically separate the lower blowing bar from the conveyor belt — for easy belt maintenance and to avoid pneumatic valve problems.
Increases the blowing resolution of the equipment to detect small-dimension pieces.
System that allows individual detection of valve breakdown or performance loss.
Independent remote connection equipment for control and maintenance.
Temperature control system for extreme operating conditions.
The AI-based solution lets you choose between 6 different applications, each focused on solving a different sorting problem. It can be added to any sorter already supplied by PICVISA, or included from the start on any new order.
Sorting of recoverable material such as PET, HDPE bottles, tetra packs and cans from end-of-line treatment flows.
Separation of food trays from bottles of the same material, by shape, colour and texture.
Separates film (PE bags) from bottles of the same material, by shape, colour and texture.
Allows separation of silicone cartridges that are always present in HDPE flows.
In a mixed flow, selects the specific medicines you want to separate.
