PICVISA wins an H2020

PICVISA has been awarded funding under the H2020 programme, an important European subsidy, to support the development of artificial vision solutions.

H2020 was the European Union's research and innovation funding programme, providing significant financial support to projects judged to advance the EU's research priorities. Being awarded H2020 funding for artificial vision development meant PICVISA's work in this area wasn't only being judged by its own commercial potential, but recognised within a broader European framework for research and innovation – a meaningful external validation for a company whose products depend heavily on advances in vision and classification technology.

Funding of this kind also provides the resources to pursue artificial vision development further than might otherwise be possible on a purely commercial timeline – work that, over subsequent years, has fed into the optical sorting and robotic systems that form the core of PICVISA's product range.
