Sixty businesspeople in a room for a round table on innovation is a fairly intimate setting compared to an international trade fair – and the conversation tends to be correspondingly more direct.
PICVISA participated in the round table of the II Innovation Day of l'Anoia, held on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016, and attended by around sixty local businesspeople.
The Anoia region, where PICVISA's facilities in Calaf are based, has its own community of local businesses, and an event like Innovation Day brings a number of them together to discuss innovation within their shared regional context. Participating in a round table format with an audience of this size allows for a more direct exchange than a larger fair would – questions and discussion can engage specifically with how a company like PICVISA approaches innovation, rather than being limited to a brief presentation.
Events rooted in the local Anoia business community are also a way for PICVISA to maintain its connections close to home, even as much of its commercial activity extends across Europe and internationally.
