When the first ECOPICK unit went into a sorting plant, it was already capable of replacing manual triage on specific fractions – but three years of continuous operation surfaced opportunities to make the robot easier to install, easier to maintain, and smarter about the decisions it makes.

Easy to instal and mantain

ECOPICK 2.0 has been redesigned with installation and maintenance in mind – reducing the time and disruption needed to get the robot up and running on an existing line, and simplifying the routine upkeep that keeps it operating reliably over years of use.

New gripping systems

The gripping systems have been updated to handle a wider range of object shapes, sizes and materials – improving pick success rates across the varied mix of items that show up on a real sorting line, rather than just the easy cases.

Better technology, more information

Behind the improved gripping is better underlying technology – ECOPICK 2.0 generates more detailed information about what it's picking and why, data that operators can use to understand performance and identify where the line itself might need adjustment.

Sales modalitites

As with PICVISA's other equipment, ECOPICK 2.0 is available through flexible sales modalities – purchase, financing, rental or service – so plants can adopt robotic sorting in the way that best fits their operational and financial circumstances.
